Learning is hard work, there are no shortcuts, but like a tough climb, it's worth every step you take.
This Friday the seventh graders will be leading the congregation in the celebration of the Eucharist and i'm asking they each bring something to contribute to the Well of Life at the Mass. Please join us if you are able.
Next Monday is Labor Day and school will not be in session. I hope the students and their families enjoy the well deserved break. Be safe!! Mrs. Murphy Thank you to all the parents that attended the Parent Information meetings. If you were not able to attend, I have information sheets for the students I teach the social studies to, ask your students to get one from me, if they have not already done so.
The seventh grade will be leading the congregation during the all-school liturgy next week, please join us if you can. And join us Tuesday, the 26th at 2:30 when Bishop James stops for a visit on his road Rally tour of the diocese. We are about to complete the first week of school!
The students are adjusting well and they are displaying good work habits. Our Information Meeting for the parents of Middle School students will take place tomorrow evening, 8/21, beginning at 6:30 in the cafeteria for a brief message from our new principal, Mrs. Paulsell and continue in the classrooms. This is a great opportunity to hear from each of the 3 middle school teachers. Please join us. Parents, it is so good to see the new seventh graders this first day of school. Most of them have turned in their forms and have all their supplies. I hope to have all the forms by Monday. Thanks in advance for your help with this. Some students have yet to bring a planner to school. This year is different as we are not supplying planners for families to buy, but we do expect all seventh graders to have and use a planner of their choice.
I am looking forward to working with each of you as partners in your student's education. Seventh Grade Rocks! |
